We have updated our anti-virus protection software on all email accounts on our servers. Although we supply anti-virus software on our servers, we recommend that all users purchase and keep updated anti-virus protection on their workstations.

We are in the process of testing SmarteMail 4.0 Enterprise on one of our servers. These tests are being conducted against our own domain as we prepare it for release to our customers.

We are excited with the new product. Some new features you will experience are:

Ability to share calendars

Ability to share folders.

Increased spam control.

Increased virus protection.

Ability to better control spam from your own account.

Plus many more features too long to list.

Check back often as we are a few weeks away from the implementation.

Added new version of email antivirus software to email servers. Ver 0.88. This will give added protection to our servers. Removed some of the blocking in SmarterMail to get ready to receive new Anti-Spam configuration. New Anti-Spam software is installed but will require configuration locally at the server. I will update this blog when this has been accomplished.

Follow the instructions contained with the software and it will allow you to setup filtering in addition to ours on your work station. This software is compatible with all versions of Microsoft email clients using POP3.
